Stop Wasting Time on Cardio Machines
So many people think that they need to spend 45 minutes on a treadmill or an elliptical in order to see a change in their body. The reality here is you will see so much more progress when it comes to reshaping your body if you weight train.
Your body wants to burn fat. In order for it to do that efficiently it needs some resistance. By using weights and adding in some resistance to your training, you are increasing your metabolic rate, thus increasing the rate in which your body can readily use body fat.
Fat does not require any energy to maintain. Muscle on the other hand requires lots of energy to maintain, build and repair. You may lose weight if you only do cardio work, but you are missing out on an opportunity to increase your results. Weight training will actually reshape your body.
So…while 45 minutes of cardio will help you lose some weight and burn some fat, when it comes to transforming your body, proper weight training can’t be beat.
Stop spending hours of your life on the elliptical for minimal results! Pick up some weight!
