They are some of the most passionate and knowledgeable coaches anywhere around, and they’re dedicated to you, the community, and to improving the health and fitness of everyone around them.     “I am drawn to finding new ways to develop who I am that I can share with others to help them to do the same.”

    Chad is passionate about life, self-improvement, leadership, and fitness is an essential component to each of those passions. He enjoys being able to help people make physical and aesthetic related improvements but the aspect of coaching he appreciates most is finding that his members are making profound, life-altering changes for themselves and their families.

    Edwin is passionate about creating a fun environment filled with laughter to help build and foster a fitness community, not just a fitness facility. He feels extremely connected to the people of CrossFit Boomtown and is grateful for the impact they have had on his life, and for the chance to impact their lives in a positive, health-oriented way.

  • Melissa Curtis

    “I truly feel lucky to be a catalyst of change for these people and to know that their lives got better because of something I taught them, now that’s pretty cool.”

    Melissa brings a passion for teaching, lifelong fitness, and proper nutrition to CrossFit Boomtown, and in combination with her education and experience, she is dedicated to helping people transform their lives. Melissa also believes balance is an essential part of a healthy life — she loves pizza and chocolate, and spending time outdoors, away from the gym.

    Daniel started with CrossFit Boomtown as a member in 2012 and as CrossFit became an integral part of his life, he realized he wanted to be able to help others. Now as a coach at Boomtown, he loves watching and being a part of the members’ journeys in self-improvement.

  • Matthew Parina

    Coach

    “I am most passionate about teaching individuals lifelong physical activity.”

    Matthew is a physical education teacher and a highly-experienced coach. He grew up involved in athletics and is an accomplished track and field athlete. After his high school track and field career ended, he found CrossFit his freshman year in college. Since then he has become an experienced and well-rounded coach, teacher, and Olympic weightlifting athlete. What he loves most about coaching at Boomtown is the members’ diligence and coach-ability, that they commit to the philosophy and never stop working to achieve success.

  • Zach Switzer

    Coach

    “I love helping people realize how great they are.”

    Zach grew up as an athlete, playing soccer throughout his youth and racing downhill skiing for 5 years. When he tried CrossFit for the first time at Boomtown, his ego was quickly checked. Zach decided he needed to learn and master the sport and he continues to work toward those goals. Today, he’s also helping others do the same. As a coach, he loves being able to share the excitement of achievement when members achieve their goals.

  • Meg Bell

    Coach

    “I love coaching because I feel like people can relate to my journey and hope to help others be successful in fitness, however they want to be successful.”

    Meg gets just as much from the Boomtown community as she gives. She is a constant student who strives to learn from her experience as a coach and draws inspiration from the members. She is dedicated to ensuring that the members develop a sound foundation in proper movement mechanics as they progress through their fitness journeys.

  • Amanda Fite

    Coach

    You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously. – Sophia Bush

    Amanda considers herself a constant work in progress. She has always been active and in search of the perfect workout, but nothing kept her attention until she found CrossFit in 2011. She is always striving for self-improvement but is most passionate about helping others. She loves sharing in other’s excitement in their accomplishments.

  • Kurt Bednarzyk

    “Everyone comes with a unique personality, body, and skill set but all have a shared desire to improve.”

    A coach with a background in Exercise Science and a love of karaoke, Kurt is passionate about family, friends, music, helping people feel better, and taking life only as seriously as the situation requires. He is also a firm believer of gradual improvement from consistent efforts. What Kurt loves most about coaching is hearing about how training has improved the members’ lives outside the gym.

  • Stephanie Richards

    Stephanie has always marched to the beat of her own drum. She consistently pushes herself to try new things like rock climbing in New Zealand, hiking in the Peruvian Andes, or deep water diving throughout the Caribbean. She was drawn to CrossFit because of the unique camaraderie within the community. CFBT provides superior support, education, and expertise that’s unmatched by any other gym in the area. Stephanie does more than make you better at CrossFit, she makes you better at life.
